about

Musician, composer, reedmaker.
I'm an uilleann pipes, clarinet and tin-whistle player from Italy. The music I play ranges from traditional folk tunes (mainly Irish) to improvisation and my own compositions.
Mainly self-taught, at the age of twenty I started travelling along with my instruments around Europe, South America and Australia, joining other musicians in gigs, sessions and street performances. From my busking background comes the EP “The Market Day”. I recently released “River Tunes”, my first solo album featuring original compositions and traditional tunes played on the uilleann pipes.
I performs as a solo musician, in duo with harpist Sophie Liebregts, as a member of the balfolk band Rolling Around, in the neo-trad project Circle Dream with pianist Michele Bargigia and during the poetry readings by Marta Telatin.
I also make reeds for uilleann pipes.
I'm currently based in Padua, Italy.
